Can a scale measure strength?
Can a scale measure speed?
Can a scale measure muscle?
Can a scale even measure health?
The answer is NO! Honestly, I own a scale, except the battery died eons ago & I never cared to replace it. There is no question that this is a very unhelpful & unhealthy tool regarding progress & health. A scale drives you to beat yourself for no reason at all. Who needs that kind of negativity? I know I don’t! If you need a tool to measure progress, grab a tailor’s measuring tape & size up your waist/thighs/upper arms. You’ll be much happier with your results this way.
You might be wondering why I saw some results while Anthony didn’t.
But he did! Anthony is now stronger & faster, while my results were a bit more physical.
Anthony’s max-rep improvements were a lot greater than mine; I can tell he really gave it his all. If he keeps this up, he’ll start seeing results in no time. Hard work always pays off in the end!
I honestly wish Anthony could’ve amazed everyone & point to our 30-day-challenge as the miracle solution. We’re real people, though, & many can relate to his experience.
The point is, it’s not easy, & we’re not trying to sell you an unattainable dream by any means. We’re putting forth the effort to bring change & share both our successes AND failures!
The purpose of participating in this challenge was -if nothing else- to have the reason & motivation to challenge yourself.
I have to give the credit for my results to this 30-day-challenge & the competitive-nature it brought out in me. I loved the quick 15-minute workouts; it was easy to get out of the way in the mornings. Not easy as a workout – you really have to push hard through the entire 15 minutes - but definitely efficient, effective, & sustainable. If it was any other way, I would have gotten lazy or made up a million excuses about how I didn’t have time.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is only the beginning. We want to experiment with different challenges, different workouts, different ways to push ourselves to achieving great things!
