I’m a week into the BP Diet, & I’m feeling good about it! I slipped up ONCE but have been good throughout the remainder so far.
Day 1 started off without a hitch. No issues with cravings, & I even got a decent workout in. Unfortunately, my mind wasn't focused when dinner came around. I had a giant bowl of bison chili with veggies and then… BAM! My girlfriend comes up to me with a bunch of my homemade Paleo cookies & shoves one in my mouth asking "they're good, right!?" Not thinking twice about it, I indulge.
That indulgence lasted about 2 minutes until reality snapped back in. Hrmph, I need to focus. The 30-day challenge didn't get me to my goal; this next one might, but it's my responsibility to stay on track and focus.
Days 2 - 7 were fairly easier once I got the hang of it. Lunches are prepped & packaged the night before, & I make sure I have my coffee beans, Kerrygold butter, Upgraded Brain Octane Oil & a little xylitol packed, too. This pretty much covers the day's food schedule from 7amto about 6pm.
After 6pm is the fun part. What do I eat?
I make it a point to know what's in my meals, so a home cooked meal is always my go-to during these 21 days. Eating out gives me some anxiety about what they do with the food - plus, it's WAY cheaper to make it yourself, AND you can be very creative.
Replicate that awesome restaurant's signature dish. Google a bunch of ingredients you happen to have, & find a recipe. Make it a game & see what you can prepare!
To give you some ideas, here is what I dined on for my dinners in week 1:
