Right now many of us have had some good days of reaching our goals & some bad days. I'd like to focus this week's post on the bad days. Why? Well, it's because you don't need me to encourage you on the good days, because the results speak for themselves!
Let's get back to focusing on our bad days & here a few tips to help get you back on track.
Awaken your inner drive. Hold on to the reason you began this journey. Did you want to lose weight? Get stronger? Look good naked? Keep that on your mind by changing the way you are saying it. For example, don't tell yourself, "I wish I could lose 10 pounds." Change the focus from the goal to the task. Tell yourself, "what can I do today that will help me get to losing these 10 pounds?"
Listen to your body. Is it stiff? Well guess what, it's not telling you that you shouldn't move; it's actually screaming to get moving. That's why it's an innate movement to stretch the moment you wake.
Quiet the noise. Take notice of what's in front of you, & give that all of your efforts. Thinking & worrying about all the other things you have to do while working out only generates stress & noise - very unhealthy & is the last thing we want to do when we are trying to achieve optimal health.
Don't be too busy. We all have moments of being too busy, there is no way of getting around that. That's right. We are ALL busy, for a moment, but that's just a perspective. Getting over a perception is sometimes a nearly impossible feat. The first step is to find someone who you perceive is doing an amazing job of getting things done & incorporating some of their positive habits. Make it happen in your own way & keep going.
I hope this week doesn't wreak havoc on the success you have already built. That's why we continue to move on, though. Don't give up, give a little more.
