Soda (ALL - including Diet)
Drink more water!
Substitute with natural sweeteners when necessary like honey, maple syrup, stevia, or xylitol.
Be more active during the day. Whether you never work out, or if you work out for hours a day at the gym, make sure you spread out some activity throughout the day. You can get up & walk around the office every 30 minutes, or take a walk before, during lunch, & after work; be creative!
4. Try 1 new Paleo Recipe a week:
This can be any recipe you’d like, from our very own Paleo Habits, or another good source is PaleoPorn.net, or google any Paleo recipe at all. If you’re in the mood for lasagna, google “Paleo lasagna recipe” & you’ll get lots of options, I can assure you! We would love for you to share your experiences & any new recipes you fell in love with in the comments section here and/or on our Paleo Habits Facebook Page.
Why does Sugar have such a negative effect on us?
A few reasons include that sugar fuels our body’s cancer cells, promotes fat storage & weight gain, & leaves our bodies in a state that isn’t regulating our appetite, & thus, leaving us craving for more & more.
